Recently, we have seen the visibility growing for Nervos ecosystem project IAMM, or "Impact Attribution Meta Market”, which seeks to “liberate the creator economy”.

While 2021 has been the year of NFT’s, Bitcoin and every other blockchain have been leading an evolution of finance for over 12 years. We are only starting to see how crypto systems will impact creative industries and the individuals who power them.

IAMM is an innovative protocol that makes decentralized digital goods a native component of the web. Building on the unique properties of CKB, IAMM will support creators, entrepreneurs and developers expanding on the current ideas of what an NFT is and what NFT’s can do.

With IAMM, any form of digital content & media, as well as higher level digital goods like software, can be quickly distributed and monetized. IAMM measures the impact of creations and generates continuous revenue streams for the creators, enabling ecosystems and micro-economies to emerge around creations. Policies can even be created to govern how value flows across a variety of digital goods.

We are excited by IAMM’s mission to “improve how value flows across the internet” and glad to extend support for co-founders and long-time Nervos community/foundation members Tannr and Lalo!

We’ll keep you posted with further updates, but for now you can join the IAMM Discord server and check out the website!

RFC

Nervos applies the RFC (Request for Comments) process for implementing every building block of the protocol. There were 27 previous RFCs, which can be found here.

If you are curious about the design decisions of aspects of CKB or anything built on it, please post your questions in this repository.
