Hello, welcome to issue #6 of the CKB Weekly, a newsletter about the Nervos Common Knowledge Base blockchain and related technology.
Retweet to celebrate Lina’s growth!
For developers, you can now use ckb-udt-cli to issue a token on CKB!
New project WASC - a WebAssembly AOT(Ahead Of Time) compiler, uses WAVM and LLVM-9 to compile WebAssembly code to machine code. It has no runtime, which means that the compilation result is just a binary file that can be run separately. With this new project, CKB has the potential of a full WASM integration. This is not half-baked integrations that might be quirky in some way, we are talking about a complete WASI-compatible integration in Nervos CKB, so we can enjoy the greatest WASM ecosystem.
CKB Studio (dev IDE) is open-sourced now (for Mac OS and Linux)

Capsule is also getting many new features such as debugger integration, latest Rust version upgrades, usability enhancements, and more.
We have started to work on yet another new project, it aims to build a full AOT compiler from WASM to RISC-V. With this new project, CKB will have the potential for full WASM integration.
